Our Alaska Cruise Day 1,2 and 3

In May Marvin and I took a 7 day Alaska Cruise aboard the Ruby Princess.  We left out of Seattle.  We had such a great time.
Our ship was huge.  It held 3599 passengers at its max and crew of 1200.  We did not feel crowded at all.

We got on the ship early around Noon and headed to our room.
We had a mini suite with a balcony.
I won these beautiful flowers in a raffle.  We got to enjoy them the whole week.

Day 2
This is the first day at sea,
Our first formal night...with rough seas all day and night
Marvin had the steak.  I had Salmon but forgot to take a picture
Yummy dessert.  Red velvet chocolate that melted in your mouth

Day 3
Ketchikan Alaska
We shopped and did a lot of walking around the town in Ketchikan.

 Our Dining experience
this was my cantaloupe soup (sorry the picture is sideways)
Lovely Halibut

Marvin had to have crab legs

Marvin's dessert was cranberry sorbet

We met some wonderful people on the cruise.  We were able to sit with them almost every night.  They were a little older than us.  We did not realize the first night that we were sitting with the narrator to the wildlife seminars and his wife.  We were able to ask alot of good questions and we got to know two of the nicest people.  She reminded me so much of my mom.

To be continued with the rest of our days at sea.

Hi, I'm back! What an enjoyable time your pictures show of your cruise!!! I'm house bound for another month. Then I will get my "release" from the doctor. This fracture is healing much quicker than the other side back in October of last year. I guess it has more stability from the rod that goes from my hip to my knee (inside the bone.) My other side just had a short rod. NO MORE OUTSIDE YARD WORK FOR ME! Love your post, Susan
