The Beautiful Pacific Ocean

We rented a house at the coast to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we walked straight outside to see the view.

Beautiful and sunny.  A little cloudy.  It was around 2:30 when we checked in and it looked like it would be a beautiful sunset.

This was the view from the living room.
We took a little walk and noticed that we were in the Tsunami Hazard Zone.  We had no worries because we knew they had a local activation system and we would would have time to move if we needed to.
Marvin and Einstein enjoying the view from our backyard.  It was a fenced yard but the fence was divided into two levels so we still had to keep any eye on Einstein.
Einstein wasn't sure what to think.  He did not like the wind and the waves scared him.  We did not get that sunset either.  It clouded up really fast.
This picture was taken on Sunday when it was cloudy and windy all day.  Marvin was holding the camera and we had a problem getting Einstein in the picture.

Here Marvin was relaxing and Einstein was too.

We had a wonderful time at the beautiful Oregon coast but we wished we could have stayed more than two nights.

I love all of your pictures. So good to have parents that are just as much or more in love than they were when they got married.

Hi Janet,
Looks like yall were having a very nice time. Hearing the roar of the ocean and just seeing it's beauty
and power is such a marvelous thing.
Yea, just a couple of days at the beach definitely leaves you wanting more, it is just so relaxing.
What a nice way to spend your Anniversary.
and what a great testimony from your daughter there, our daughter says sweet encouraging things like that too, what a blessing!

Have a good rest of the week,
Love and Blessings, Nellie

Looks like a true piece of Heaven! I love being in Oregon and hope one day to possibly make a move there, around Silverton since the forests have always been calling my name!

Hi there, Happy Belated Anniversary! We will celebrate our 35 in a couple of weeks-where or where did the years go?! Loved the view from your house-did you rent it or do you own it? How cool that you also had Einstein there with you. That is the one drawback about vacations and it is leaving our furbaby at home.
Hugs today.
