Cuteness and some naughty pets

My cute little boy!  He is so squeezable soft and loves to cuddle with mommy and play with daddy.  I have a few new nicknames for him, bubba and boo boo but he knows that his name is really Einstein.

Naughty but cute cats

Tiger is laying in Einsteins bed looking out the front window.  He fits in his bed really well
Khloe is just chilling and looking so beautiful
Now for the naughty part.  The other night I had a sour stomach so I got up during the night and I noticed that the cabinet was open.  I thought that to be strange but just closed it and grabbed a glass and some ginger ale.  I didn't bother to turn on the light or even put my glasses on for that matter.
The next morning Marvin asked me if I heard the cats.  I didn't and neither did Einstein.  He said we must have left the bread out and the cats decided to rip open the plastic and enjoy some bread.  I actually think I forgot to shut the cabinet and they I mean Tiger got the bread down and invited Khloe in on the feast. Anyway the cats were so loud that they woke Marvin up and he came and found the evidence and had to dispose of the rest of the bread.   But they are still way to cute to get mad at right.  This is not the first time Tiger has opened bread, he has enjoyed tomatoes, an avocado that was on the refrigerator and anything else that we may have put up.
This is Shane our grandson dog (our daughter Holly and son in law Ricky's dog)
If you notice how adorable Shane is.  He is a sporting a plastic hanger around his head.   That is where the naughty part comes in.  Holly and Ricky have their trash can in the kitchen.  It has a swinging top on it.  Their dogs this is Sheila
have never bothered the trash before UNTIL this particular day.
Earlier in the morning Holly had thrown away the broken hanger in the bottom of the trash.  She had then cleaned the refrigerator and and added a moldy 2 pound brick of cheese and some other miscellaneous trash.  When she got home from work she found Shane with the hanger stuck on his head and several wrapper all over the floor.  The empty plastic from the cheese was in one of the dogs beds.  They ate all the cheese.  Thank goodness they did not get sick or injured by the hanger.  Shane and Sheila are brother and sister.  They are around 11 or 12 years old.  Aren't they cute?  They are part Lab, part Chow and part Corgi.

Fun at the Super Regional Womens Softball games

The College Women's softball team hosted the Super Regional games beginning last Saturday here in Eugene.  It was the Oregon Ducks vs Nebraska Huskers.  Of course Marvin wanted to go.  So we got out our game shirts

Marvin of course was in his Oregonians for Nebraska Shirt.  The game started at 5 but we headed out early and went over to our friends house so we could ride together.  Mike snapped a quick picture of us.
It was about 70 degrees but the sun was right on us. Marvin stuck out like a sore thumb.  He was the only red in the section we were sitting in.  Then we got a text from our daughter and my sister in Nebraska that they say us on TV
Marvin had his head down texting and I was eating frozen lemonade and talking to my friend Diane  that we came with.  On the other side of my friend Diane her husband Mike was also texting on his phone.
The game was good and Nebraska ended up winning the first game.  On our way out we saw the woman that got hit with a pop fly.  She had a very swollen eye that was already black.  I ducked and screamed when that ball came close to us.  It actually ricocheted off the guy in back of us and then hit her.  I hope she is okay.

Sunday morning we headed back to Howe field for game 2.  We were with another couple for this game.  Back in the hot sun

You can see our friend Penny to the left of Marvin.  There were a few showers but it was hot.
Once again we were on TV.  This was at the end of the game when after 11 innings Oregon won.  We were all on our feet.  I was clapping,  as you can tell by Marvin's body language he was not too happy.  His friend Dwyane with the big hat was to his left.

There was a one hour delay before the final game.  I was sunburned hot and tired of sitting plus Einstein had been home for several hours and needed to be let outside.  Marvin ran me home and his friend Mike took my place and went back with him.  I was able to watch the 3rd game on TV.
The Nebraska Huskers ended up winning the game and they will head to Oklahoma City  next Thursday for the World Series and will be playing the Washington Huskies.

We had a great time.  I had sunscreen on but still got a little burnt.  Both teams played exceptional well and were respectful to each other.

Happy Anniversay Jeremy and Sara

Happy Anniversary today to my son Jeremy and daughter in law Sara.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.  1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Mother Day's

This is how my Mothers Day morning started
Marvin got me a cute card from my little boy Einstein.  This is our first Mothers Day together,
and then Holly stopped in so she could go to Church with us.  Her husband Ricky was spending time with his mom.
When we got home and after a yummy Taco salad I was anxious to open my gift
My gift was in a huge beautifully wrapped BIG box.  But first we had to get it set up so everyone could see me open my gift.
We got our Kansas family my daughter Jennifer, son in law Matt and grand kids Emma and Logan set up on skype.
We got my daughter in law Sara, grand daughters Kayla and Morgan set up on facetime on my phone.  (this picture was taken on Saturday at a wedding)  Jeremy was not able to tune in because he was working. .

I was so surprised I received  a beautiful Jewelry armoire
Holly and her dad putting the stand together
I love it ....

 still a work in progress
My three children Jennifer, Jeremy and Holly.  Thank you for giving me a great Mothers Day gift .
I love you all

Happy Mothers Day Mom

I am so blessed to still have my mom.  Even though we live many miles apart we talk often and see  each other every couple of years.
I thank you mom first for giving me life.  I thank you mom for every sacrifice that you had to make for me.  I thank you mom for sitting by my bed all those times I was so sick.  I thank you mom for pushing me to get outside and get some fresh air so it would make me feel better.  I thank you mom for leading me to the Lord. for taking us to Mass most Sundays and taking us to Catechism on Wednesday nights.  I thank you mom for all the meals you cooked and boy did you cook, every night at 6:00 she had a big supper on the table.  I thank you mom for the times you said  no me and grounded me for misbehaving.  I thank you mom for all the morals and values that you taught me..  I thank you mom for treating my husband with respect and loving him like your son.  I thank you mom for just being a phone call away, you listen and let me cry.  You will sometimes give me advice and other times you tell me I already know what to do.  Thank you for being you Mom.

I love you
