Happy 9th Birthday Kayla

Happy Birthday today October 30th to our grand daughter Kayla.   Kayla is super sweet little girl.  She loves Monster High Dolls and in fact that is her Halloween costume this year that she is modeling below.
Kayla also loves horses and here she is riding one when we were in Kansas.

Kayla loves to read.  In fact below she is sporting my new Hammock (which is a story in its own)

Happy 5th Birthday Logan

Happy Birthday to our grandson Logan.  He is 5 today.  Such a cute little boy that is so full of energy.  He is our only grandson thus far and the youngest too.

He has the most adorable smile and sparkling blue eyes and is all boy.

He loves his books too and his Christmas PJS in August!
He loves horses
He took some time out to visit with his Nana (that's me)
and he always wanted his Papa which makes Papa so happy
He is such a big boy and loves the color orange
He still loves to snuggle with his mom (our daughter Jennifer) and he wants to marry her
He loves his dad and his sister Emma too.
Happy Birthday Logan!
We are counting down the days until we get to see you again!

More family visits

My niece Sheena came the following Monday to visit.  We were so excited to meet her new baby Brooklyn and her husband Jamie and get to see her other two daughters Lily and Summer too.
Below Holly couldn't keep her hands off little Brooklyn

and then my daughter in law Sara enjoyed holding her too

Holly Brooklyn and Sheena sat outside and visited
Below is my mom and Summer

Summer, Lily, Kayla, Morgan and Kayla all enjoyed eating outside
Jamie, Brooklyn and Sheena

On the kitchen table was a carnival like game that made a lot of noise.  My parents had candy inside as prizes.  I am thinking that we took the batteries out at some point

Another great visit!

Always something to do at my parents house

During our reunion and stay at my parents house there were so many things going on.  My Nephew Scott got out his son Tavins little golf clubs.  Before you knew it he was giving lessons

My side of the Family

This picture is my side of the family.  We had several missing but there were still 28 of us

Thank you mom and dad for always hosting.  You make us feel so special and right at home.
We arrived just in time for lunch.  Mom had sloppy joe's, ham salad and my favorite potato salad along with several other salads and yummy food.
Here are my parents.  They had 4 of us kids there , 8 grandchildren and 7 great grand children there that day.   Wow to think we all weren't there.
My cousin Tricia  (in the blue shirt) was there too.  Here is my sister Joyce and Holly visiting .
and here is my mom and my daughter Jennifer

In this picture my brothers Danny, David, sister Joyce and I are all visiting

It was a beautiful day (not as hot like it had been)  we sat out in the back and enjoyed our lunch.

Of course there was time to play cards

This is all for now.  I will have a few more posts on our visit to my parents and then I still have more posts of our visit when we returned to our daughter Jennifer's house.
