Grandparents picnic with Kayla

We had such a fun lunch today with our 7 year our granddaughter  Kayla at the Grandparents Picnic today at her school.  It was such a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky.
When we arrived Kayla wanted me to come over to her desk so she could read to me.  She is a very good reader.
They class sang some very cute songs about grandparents.

Each child then got to read a poem that they wrote especially for their grandparents.

She has such beautiful handwriting.
We then headed outside for our picnic.  Kayla's Great-Grandma and Grandpa were there too.
Kayla was not very hungry but sat with us for a few minutes.  Her teacher came over and told us that she believed that Kayla would be an author one day because she is very good at writing.  Her teacher also told us that she is such a wonderful little girl.  That did not surprise me.  Kayla loves school.
Kayla soon wanted to go and play
and have fun with her friends.

Have a blessed weekend!

What a wonderful blessed day with Kayla! It makes me think of my passed kindergartners when they read their poems to their moms when we had our "Mother's Day Tea."

It was great to see Kayla in the movie! What did she think about it!

Love to you all,
