We had a nice quiet weekend away. We stayed at the Mill Casino because we had a special room rate and we had some casino time. Then on Saturday we went to Bandon and saw the beautiful ocean. It was cold and windy. The sun was shining but the wind was brisk. We stopped and listened to a couple of ladies that had a whale watching stand set up. We did not see any whales. Bandon has a lot of little shops that we stopped in. We had a great lunch at Lord Bennett's which overlooked the ocean.
March 19, 1981 6:31 pm cst Jeremy Todd was born to Marvin and Janet at the Nemaha County Hospital. He weighed 7lbs 10.5 oz and was 20 inches long. Mom and Dad were just crazy about their new son and sister Jennifer 11 months loved her baby brother. Jeremy had a lot of black hair and had dark eyes. Wow 2 kids in a year. Jeremy was born on Agriculture Day in Auburn Nebraska and therefore we won a big food basket full of potatoes, hamburger, oranges, apples, lettuce, bread, eggs, chicken, ham and milk. What a blessing our son has been to us. We love you Jeremy!
