An early birthday surprise

I have wanted a necklace that has a tab which each one of my kids names on it for a long time. Well on Christmas Day they surprised me with an early birthday present which was this necklace. I opened it and was trying hard not to cry. What a wonderful gift from my wonderful kids. I love you Jennifer, Jeremy and Holly....

Christmas Eve we went to service with Holly, Ricky, Kayla & Morgan. It was a challenge with Morgan because she just wanted her Nana but she still bounced around between all of us. Kayla was sleepy and was really not into the service because there was not a Childrens message or Childrens Church.

Christmas morning we all slept in and I made homemade cinnamon rolls. The Jeremy Sara Kayla and Morgan arrived around 11:00 and we opened gifts. I made ham cheesy potatoes, cranberry salad, green beans and bacon and a relish tray. We had so many candy and cookies so we did not make dessert. We had great family time.

The Bagents

Pictured is our baby Holly and her new husband Ricky. They were married on June 2oth of this year. What a very handsome couple.

The Thoms

I just love these pictures that my daughter Jennifer had taken. This is a great family pictures of Jennifer and her beautiful family husband Matt, Emma and Logan.

Check it out I actually got on the treadmill for about 12 minutes. This is for you Jennifer. LOL

Snow Day

We got about 3 inches here in Springfield Oregon. It is really slick so no work day for Janet and Marvin got sent home early because the mill was froze up. Max does not like the snow. An Amercian Eskimo that does not like the snow, Is that crazy or what?

Tiger the cat

Yesterday Marvin and I watched the girls for a few hours for Jeremy and Sara could get some shopping done. We got the girls busy with activities. Kayla walked away to let her ornaments dry when Tiger thought he would take a look. I love this picture.

It snowed

Yes it did snow a little today and it is cold here. We cancelled our trip to Hollys because of our Winter storm watch. We are hoping for some more snow later.

Emma and Logan

Emma and Logan are our oldest daughter Jennifer children. They live in Carthage New York. Emma is 4 and Logan is 1.

Emma's called and talked to Nana and Papa this morning and told us about all the snow and that they are making cookies today. She said that she would send Papa and I a cookie. You know how I love frosted sugar cookies. She sang me the Grandma Moses song too. It just melts my heart when I get to hear her sing. She also thinks that Marvin is my daddy. I was trying to tell her that Papa was my husband. She was getting mad at me because she thinks she is right, Hum just like her mommy and maybe a little like her Nana.

This picture shows Emma and Logan in their Christmas PJ's that I sent. I love this picture because Logan looks like he is going to hit Emma. I miss the kids so much .

Christmas letters

I have the Christmas letters done and put in the mail. Now to get the shopping done. We have a chance for some snow on the valley floor this weeekend. That will make it interesting since we usually do not have much snow here. I am thinking just thinking about making cookies and candy. Hope you are having a Happy Holiday season.

Fun at the Springfield Christmas Parade

This year the temperature was 60 during the Christmas Parade. The kids enjoyed cotton candy. Morgan got so sticky. God Bless my daughter in law Sara for helping a lost 3 year old boy find his mom before the parade started.
